The Virgin Islands Medical Institute, Inc. produces a number of publications and shares email news to assist health care professionals, leaders, stakeholders, organizations, and policy makers in understanding and advancing quality improvement and patient safety in the territory. Many of our publications focus on the Virgin Islands health care landscape. VIMI is well integrated with the Virgin Islands' health care community, having continuously held the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) quality improvement organization (QIO) contract in the Virgin Islands since 1977.
